The 287th Meeting was held at the St Levans Inn on Thursday 8th May 2014.  

The President opened the Meeting at 20:00 with the Loyal Toast to Gunners, Missilemen and AWW’s everywhere.

Only the Prez  G I Potts  and G I Luker at the moment are going to the Ladies night so they will be heavily subsidised by the association. Arrive at the front doors of the Aquarium  by 19:15 for a 19:45 sit down.  We need to be out of the dining area by 22:30 as this is the time the fishes go to sleep. G I Baker will step into my shoes just before the dinner to ensure a smooth running of the event. Dress Is Black tie for Gents smart frocks for the ladies. Our patron Sir Richard Ibbotson is attending.

The Mason’s lodge in Stoke has been booked for the Gentleman’s evening 7th November and I am probably off to India again in the first week of November.

GI Prout has kindly volunteered to investigate and run with the proposed  GI’s meeting in Gib for March 2015. Will happen around Easter leave period.

Presidents Charity:

 Phippsi has looked into some prices for the weather proof tops for the team. The manager is wanting to wait until nearer the start of the new season .

I need the association to permit me to complete my spending as and when able, even if this this is post AGM including Mustard Tree if applicable.

Gib meeting

Hello oppo sorry it’s been a while, right GI meeting in Gib I have sounded out the following nelson’s flip flop or a pub on gun wharf quay nice but expensive, I can also book a place called the golf box. Accommodation in Britannia house cost $45 a night sleeps 6 but sleeps 4 more comfortably. So if you get 4 per room it will cost 310 per person per night, just need a date and I’ll do the booking. Flights on average around £150 return.


 The Type 22 Association 
Is proud to present its first reunion
to be held at the China Fleet Club on 26th July 2014 commencing 19.00 sharp.
Agenda as follows:
Arrival 6.30pm into the Pacific & Atlantic suits, both rooms will have the bar open
The Cloakroom will be used to sell the merchandise... 
7.30pm guests will be asked to make their way to the Atlantic suite for the speeches & raffle . 
• A table will be reserved for the invited dignitaries. 
8.00pm to 10.00 will be a rolling hog roast and buffet, served in the Pacific suite background music will be played all evening 
The Atlantic suite will have a dance floor this will be where main event entertainment will hosted for the evening 
There will be seating for 220 people in this room.
Kings mill Suite – Bar open, used as a quiet area, slide shows of days gone by… 
Farmhouse – 3 x Casino tables and manned bar.

Upper deck area – quiet area, brassiere bar will be open
Lounge Bar – adult only bar. 
The casino bar closes at midnight and all function bars at 1am.
The lounge bar will act as the residents bar and will close at a predetermined time agreed with china fleet and the T22 association. 
Tickets are limited at 250 at a cost of £40.00 ea. This will cover the cost of the above venue. Tickets will be available for purchase via PayPal and coordinated through Paris…. No one else can sell tickets to this event, Paris will have complete control of issuing of tickets and accounting. 
THE China Fleet Club also offers:
15% off all drink prices. 
Also pleased to offer accommodation at their exclusive “Beneficiary Rate” 
38 reserved apartments (Allocated on a first come first served basis). 
When Booking you should quote “T22 Association Re-union” when booking with the hotel reception.
