Social Secretary’s Report:
The Ladies night is now fixed for the 6th June at
the Aquarium. The request to use the wardroom at RMB
Stonehouse was unsuccessful on this occasion as they are
having an audit on the date in question. The other
alternative was to use the Seniors mess. Unfortunately on
the day in question , the Mess is coming out of a major
refit and therefore would not be available should the refit
move right by any amount. Our contact was against booking
this date just in case. He would however be very happy for
us to enquire in the future.
At the Aquarium for numbers of 50 to 60 dining will take
place in one of the tunnels with either fishes swimming
around us or sharks. Prices tbc post recce by the President.
Bar and disco will finish at 00.30. Unfortunately I will not
be attending I’m off to Scotland on holiday with the missus.

Please visit and add your comments. There is still not
enough action occurring even though the President of the
Portsmouth Association has responded himself through it. Big
Mac remains convinced that nobody wants to speak to him as
he always seems to speaking to himself. So if for nothing
else, visit the site and say hello to Big Mac.
If you have something that you would like included on the
site, email it to our Webmaster (Ray Lester). Ray has done
a brilliant job of amending the website as soon as I request
- don’t forget to keep tabs on the Portsmouth Website.

GI Baker T. On Tuesday I travelled all the way to Birmingham
to watch my favourite band ‘The Wild Hearts’ The guy who
was taking me up there had a road traffic accident prior to
the event so was unable to drive. Mrs Baker stepped into
the Breach went with me despite hating The Wild Hearts. We
missed the first band ignored the second band and hit the
bar. Went to see The Wild Hearts after 4 songs i got conned
into crowd surfing and got kicked out as a result.
