MINUTES OF THE 284th MEETING 2014

The 284th Meeting was held at the St Levans Inn on Thursday
13th February 2014.

absence for a massive spread and a quality evening had by
all. At the free bar only £496.20 of alcohol was drunk, the
meal cost £770 total outlay £1,270.20. So despite the Social
Sec’s best efforts a small profit may have been made.
The cash statement was read out to the members present.
Below is an outlay of the stock that I hold and prices. If
anyone is interested in purchasing any of these goods then
please contact me.
Also like to add my thanks to Mandy and the staff for a good
meal and enjoyable evening. Well worth the 4 mile walk home.
As the new secretary I was expecting a few e-mails giving

For those of you unaware GI MacCallum was taken ill in Chile
a few days ago. He has had his
Gall bladder removed. He is out of hospital and at home
GI Timms is running the London marathon in aid of The
British Legion and wondered if the association would
donate some funds to his run. He has set up a just giving

I would like to point out that it was poor planning by an ex
2 ½ to plan our ladies night on the same night as a Warrant
Officer’s dinner in Portsmouth.
