Minutes of the Meetings.
Social Secretary’s Report:
A letter was forwarded to the Second Sealord reference the
costing of functions within HMS Raleigh and HMS Drake from
the civilian companies which the MOD have granted contracts.
We received a reply from the Second Sealord, and as per the
trend that is circulating Naval Establishments, they
favoured the civilian company rather than the Association
that has Serving and Ex-Serving Members who are Serving or
have served their country for countless years!!
Could you please let me know if you have handed your fine to
a Committee Member?
Lt Dobson 2 bottles – His wife over indulging on after
dinner mints and his guest Simon Kingdom for wearing his hat
throughout the meal.

All port fines are to be paid for as soon as possible and
handed to any member of the Committee or presented at any of
the monthly Meetings.
GI Cook stated the position of Secretary and also GI Lewis
has suggested that, in the not too distant, he will be
stepping down as President. These are two positions within
the Association Committee that are vital to ensure the
running of this Association. If we do not get people coming
forward to take up the responsibility then the consequences
could be severe for the Association.
GI’s McIntosh, Archer and Luther.
