This is the opportunity for you the members to ensure those you vote in are those trustworthy of representing you as your committee. To that end we would like to see as many of you as possible at Thursday’s meeting. If you cannot attend the can I ask you to pass on your proposals either to myself or Steve.

Social Secretary’s Report: Mike passed on his thanks to all that attended the Gents Night, and was gracious in his receiving of thanks for delivering such a well organised serial. For your diaries this year already, the venue has been booked again for the 1st November, get in your bids early with the yearly planners and let’s again see a fantastic turn out.

Ladies Night has been provisionally planned for Saturday 4th May and Mike is currently on the lookout for a suitable venue. Corps of Drums has been contacted and the new booking process is being sent through the system as we sit.

Another avenue Mike was looking at was to have a dinner/dance. If anybody has any thoughts on this then get in touch with Mike via the website.

Presidents Charity: With the President all paid up at Oncology now, he is still looking for new projects to undertake.  There are still funds from two previous years that need to be spent.  The VP has asked that his Youth Football Team be considered but details are still to be forthcoming.  Any ideas – you know where to contact him.

Association Website:  Our website is up and running www.westcountrygunners.com .  There is still not enough action occurring on it though.  The Joining button is now operative.  Please visit and add your comments.  If you have something that you would like included on the site, email it to our Webmaster (Ray Lester).  It is hoped that eventually the Committee will be able to input themselves without relying on Ray all of the time.

We also have our attached forum http://www.westcountrygunners.com/phpBB3/index.php

Don’t forget that these Forums are there for you to express yourselves, dit on, etc.

Prez: I was on the new website today (13th Dec).  There seems to be a bit of traffic on there.  Ray was only missing the last Minutes (270th) probably due to recent events which I have now sent him.  It is still looking good.  www.westcountrygunners.com
