Secretary’s Report: I have still not received any contact from the two Members regarding outstanding payments from the Ladies Night.  You know who you are so please get in touch before the next Meeting where I will be naming!!

Our yearly BBQ has been booked for Friday 27th July 2012.  As my email mentioned, we have already had a marvellous response from the MTU Instructors and I would now like the same response from you the Members.

Our July Meeting is also our AGM so we would like as many of you to attend as this is your opportunity to have your say on who you would like to see on the Committee.  Positions up for election are President and Social Secretary.  At present I have three proposals with reference to the positions and one other proposal.  Only AGM Agenda will be discussed on the night, no AOB.

Social Secretary’s Report: Apologies.

Vice President: As it stands at the moment I am due to leave the services in May next year. In accordance with the Constitution, either President or Vice President has to be a serving member of the RN.  (GI Luker: What Constitution?)(Sec: Listening to the tape there is now an eerie silence.) It was now pointed out to our current Vice President that there is no promulgated Constitution.  It was something that should have been handed over to him by his predecessor – whoever that was.

After a hearty discussion it was decided that the Vice President would again look into it.
