Ref: PO(M) and AWW’s Courses:
PO(M)s I have had no replies re my request last month.
Therefore would all exPO(M) who qualified after PO(M)
course 200 of 2001, e-mail me with their course number

memory is that good.
Gwilym (Taff) Rees
is heading to Australia next year for the British Lions
Rugby Tour and is hoping to meet up with ex CPO(OPS)(M)
Roger SINDEN who has emigrated to upside down land. Some of
you may remember Roger—as a CPO(OPS)(M) he was the best
Chippie a ship could have!
If anyone knows of Roger’s whereabouts or a contact address,
please let the Prez know soonest.
The Prez bumped into Richie Gough outside the St Levan. He
was down for the Type 21 weekend and sent his Best to all
who know him. He hopes, at some stage, to make it down for
a GI’s Serial in the not too distant future.

that could sponsor to the sum of £500 – 600 I would be very
Did pass on his apologies for his attire this evening. He
would have been proudly wearing his GI’s Association
t-shirt, but he still hasn’t received it!!
Our President went on to explain why a certain few of the
members had still not received their t-shirts and assured us
that the situation will be resolved as swiftly as possible.
Thank you Mac for your humorous tales, always a pleasure.
It’s good to be back!
Asked the members if any of them had had the pleasure of
attending a “Speed Awareness Course”. In Gregg’s opinion he
recommends that anyone caught speeding just take the fine
and points as the course is a waste of time. As a bundle,
you have to take a day off work, so you lose a day’s pay and
you have to pay £18 for the pleasure of attending. Work it
out, the cost of the course and the cost of your speeding
ticket probably adds up to your loss of earnings.
Was wandering if the Association would consider donating
charity money to his friend who is suffering from
Alzheimer’s. His condition has deteriorated that badly he
now wakes up in a morning and cannot remember whether he
puts on trousers or a skirt. (at this point Terry places a
photograph on the table of GI MacCallum wearing a kilt).
The Meeting closed at 2038
